Revelation...Quilombo of Mestre Low
A quilombo is a testament to the power of rebellion, population and cultural cohesion. It is a safe haven where people can gather together and live free of oppression. It is Racial Harmony and Co-existence. This piece celebrates the passionate quilombo that Mestre Wilson Low has created in San Francisco. Through his music and creation of MaraReggae, Mestre Low has created a universal style of world music, where everyone, young and old, can be inspired to dance and express themselves.
